The start of something new!

Dear Friends

For the past couple of years, my interest in style blogging has grown. Not only have I spent hours on Pinterest discovering styles that I like, but I have actively worked on curating my wardrobe according to the styles I have pinned on my boards. And after receiving much encouragement from Lihle, I have decided to put behind me the fear of not being a "fashionista" or "not being qualified enough to speak on style and threads" and start my blog titled Granadilla by akoss. I have decided to combine my love for writing and my love for fashion and create a space on the net where we can explore style that truly expresses who we are.

I must admit, I am starting this blog with the goal of having an audience of my five friends, and I address this first post to you because you know me well. You have heard me speak about dresses designed for gala dinners, and summer dresses that would be perfect for holiday getaways. You have seen the countless Whatsapp status' of style bloggers I follow and the outfits I hope to one day wear myself. So when I say I am creating a space where 'we' can explore, I am referring to you...my friends, and any other who joins in on the journey. SO... here is to the start of something new! May this be our corner online of encouragement, fun and self expression.
