Warm Prints for Autumn Styling

It’s that time of the year again where we dust out our coats and boots and pivot our daily styling to brace for the upcoming cold months. And if these couple of weeks are anything to go by, we are in for a hair-raising winter season. And as we begin to layer every inch of skin with threads, the cold weather comes with the opportunity to play around with prints. I have found that during the Autumn and Winter seasons, it is very easy to wear plain dark colours like your blacks, navy, browns, and greens. Of course, it makes sense…the colours match with our mood, retains the little heat floating about in the air, and is the perfect camouflage for navigating rainy days with muddy splash-back and raindrop stains. Since we are already wearing dark colours, using prints to add styling details is an easy way to add a pop of colour on sunny days, or turn a casual outfit into a classy chic outfit. One of the ways I have been doing that is pairing my Leopard Print Scarf with the outfit for the day. On this occasion, I paired it with my Biker Jacket, Black Long Sleeve Top, Mom Jeans and White Sneakers.

Yours stylishly,

akoss...
