The Pursuit of a Curated Wardrobe

A real part of life is the long and painstaking transition from being a fully dependent young adult, into an independent and high functioning individual with inclinations of finding the right balance between being a contributing member of society, and a fulfilling social life. For some of us, this extends to curating a wardrobe of our complete choosing, free from financial stress, and the privilege of stepping out the house well-dressed. It may be wearing vibrant but appropriate clothes for the mundane task of going to work or running errands; suitable attire for that strenuous but enjoyable hobby session; casual wear for social days with friends; or formal and stylish garms for an intentional evening under the night sky. On any occasion, you may wish to have full control of how you present yourself. For me, this began by identifying essential garments that were needed daily such as vests and practical yet stylish shoes, then gradually replacing items with newer and fresher looks. Nothing rings truer than my experience of purchasing this Denim Trucker Jacket and knowing that I can pair it with anything and everything. And matching it with the Knit Ribbed Bodycon Dress and White Sneakers, I am reminded of the time when my wardrobe left much to be desired.
