Strength from above

Between the unbearable Spring heat, the revisitation of 'thee' unwanted mosquitoes, evening rainfall, actively trying to avoid the Black Friday hype, and my mind involuntarily slipping into rest mode; the past two weeks have been surprisingly productive. I have managed to draw strength from above and found myself being a productive member of the academic community. I have been reading relevant papers that are building my conceptual ideas towards water management and continue to push through the never-ending work of research, all while fighting off the end-of-year fatigue or the ‘ke dezember boss’ mood!

And although wearing black may not be the best move for the recent hot days, this outfit best demonstrates the mood I have been in lately. I have been intentional (borderline too serious for my liking) and joyful at the same time. And wearing my Black Jumpsuit made from a light material and much beloved pair of Superstars, I was able to keep chilled in the heat, all whilst looking like a boss lady in the making.
