Have you ever stopped to think about what you can redo, repurpose, reboot, or adjust…instead of starting afresh? Perhaps maybe re-strategising your approach toward a goal, or re-organising your set up to enable productivity? Well, we all know that for many people, a new year brings with it the bad habit of setting resolutions, only to fall short of the desire to achieve the goal by the time February comes round. The enthusiasm is suffocated by the demands of everyday life, and you are left with telling yourself “I will try again next year…or next time!” But how about instead of throwing in the towel, we use the first month for re-assessment on how you have not kept to your word, and what you can change in the next month? Perhaps identify what seems to be working for you and ensuring that you keep at it! It is not a terrible thing to recognise that you have not made any progress toward what you wanted to do in this new year…but it would be catastrophic to waste the opportunity of adjusting your plan. Sometimes, all that is needed is to stop, reboot, then continue with the plan instead of trying to ‘start over’. This week, I did a little bit of rebooting myself by wearing my Denim Shirt Dress as a jacket like garment instead of a dress, and pairing it with a White Body Suit, Baby Blue Skinny Jeans, and Black Matilda Block Heels for a slightly new look!
