When shops sell you lemons...wear lemonade!

Seeing an item of clothing on a model is all well and good, until you purchase the garment, only for it to not look as appealing when you are wearing it. Too many of us may have gone through this experience and this recently happened to me when I was on a lookout for a new long sleeve top. You see, I regularly wear long sleeves as it is easy to dress up or dress down. But this time around, I wanted a top that looked different from my ordinary and did not require much dressing up. Basically…I wanted a top that had an element of sass on its own! And to my surprise, I found this Black Bodysuit with a Cut-Out Detail on the Chest, which I immediately knew would pair well with all my jeans and joggers. But after wearing it for the first time, I was gravely disappointed by how the Cut-Out Detail was vertically stretched after snapping the Bodysuit Extension Clips together, and the Cut-Out failed to sit neatly due to my bust. Snapping the extenders created a gaping whole on my chest which was not the look I desired. After a week or two had passed, I decided to give the top another go but had a strategy to address my displeasure. This time round, I decided against cuffing the Bodysuit Extenders and rather tucked them into my jeans as I would a Shirt. And when I wore it again, the Cut-Out was pleasantly shaped on my chest area, with a more subtle cut-out. Not only did I feel more comfortable wearing it, but the outfit was perfectly suited for the January days we have been experiencing where it has been rainy and strangely cooler. In addition, the outfit did not require additional jewellery or accessories which is what I was aiming for. The outfit gave off the sassy energy I was feeling on that day! And the next time I wear it, I plan on ironing it well to ensure that the lining of the Cut-Out maintains its shape.
