Last year, on the 22nd of February 2023, “The Sunday Affair: The Style Narration” officially went live with its first post. And a year later, the blog is still going strong. I used to follow (and still do) a couple of style bloggers who regularly posted the outfits they wore on Instagram. And every so often, I would take a screenshot of my favourite looks and share them on my status. At that time, I did not think of doing my own thing…but here we are today, a year in of sharing outfits worn within the week and trying new outfits that pull on my heart strings. And I hope that The Sunday Affair also inspires you to try the styles that you are secretly admiring from afar! This past weekend, the sun came out in full force and showed us flames, and I had just the right idea for an outfit to cope in the heat. For a while now, I have been wanting a crop top but did not want the body hugging crops these 2000’s are wearing. And as I usually do, I took a deep dive into Pinterest to find the right type of crop top for me and my body shape. And law & behold…there exists thee ‘Boxy Crop Top’ which isn’t body hugging. I found that Boxy Crop Tops are more accommodating for different body shapes and is also perfect for the sunny days…where you want breathability to avoid sweating easily! And what I loved even more about this top is how inexpensive they are at any clothing store. I paired my Grey Boxy Top with my Midi Skirt and Adidas Superstars for thee day out in the town!
