The Plaid Shacket Upgrade

There are times when you feel no need to dress to the ‘T’ but still want to look good for your own peace of mind. When those days come around, grabbing a statement piece such as a Biker Jacket or a luxury sweater just won’t do the trick. And even cardigans may be overboard for the slightly warmer days. Wanting to stay stylish with minimal effort is easy with the Plaid Shacket as it allows you to enjoy the casualness of a shirt, while maintaining some warmth during the transitional season. This week, I wore an oversized Brown and Cream Plaid Shacket paired with a Navy V-Neck T-Shirt, Skinny Jeans and Double Buckle Sliders, inspired by the Birkenstock brand. With this wear, I tucked in one end of the Shacket, just to give my outfit more shape for a well-thought out and finished look. And if you are a shorter girlie or want to appear taller, the half tuck-in is the perfect hack. If you are considering adding a Shacket to your wardrobe, bear in mind the different textures and thickness of the material. If you are inspired by the Winter outfit styles, getting a thicker and tailored Shacket may be more up your alley than a lighter or soft material. And if you are going for a statement piece, there are Crop Plaid Shackets and Maxi Length Shackets which are on the expensive side and will cost you some extra coins. Either way, this is a great addition for all wardrobes.
