Someone come fetch Graces' daughter

Over the past few days, my mind has been preoccupied by the many things that need to be done. Making sure I am up-to-date with work responsibilities, trying to salvage time out of the day to work on my research paper, knocking down my errands list before it gets too long, and the many other little things that crop up and need immediate attention. And the recent weather has not made things any easier, with its windy rainfall and at times, annoying heat. And it's days like these when I find myself operating in auto-pilot mode, and just getting through the day.

Nearing the end of the year is always the hardest because the holidays are sooo close, I can already feel my mind and muscles beginning to relax, yet they are still far and work needs to be wrapped up. And to add salt to the wound, there aren't any public holidays in sight, to get me by. Sooo... this past week, I decided to steal some vain time in spite of all the work I need to get done.

The saying 'When you look good, you feel good' is true as I set time out the week for a little R'n'R. A little change in the hairstyle, doing my nails, and a little more effort in the outfit for the week was a fun outlet to get my mind off other things. But this past Sunday, was the remedy I needed, to shake off the 'gunk', and feel a lot better about the days to come. The worship during the Sunday Service allowed me to shift my focus away from myself and allow God to take centre stage, even though it was for a few hours. So the glow you see from me is all the Glory of God.

With that being said, I decided to wear my High Waist Tapered Easy Fit Stretch Navy Blue Pants and Navy Polar Neck, with my Linen Blazer and Block Heel. And to complete the outfit...a pair of Chunky Gold Hoop Earrings and a Hand Held Box Bag.

Here's to finishing off the year on a strong note!
