With this week’s outfit, I am taking it all the way back to a trend from years ago but has not been completely forgotten. About seven years ago, I bought my first Maxi T-Shirt Dress from a popular clothing store and have been rocking it ever since. At the time I purchased it, it was common to see women in Collared Golf T-shirt dresses, Collared Button-down dresses or dresses alike. And…it was fitting as it was the summer season! And since then, my Maxi T-Shirt Dress continues to serve me well. In a Navy-Blue colour, cotton material, and mini side slit on the left side, the Maxi T-Shirt Dress is the perfect alternative to Bodycon Dresses especially in the warmer seasons. The dress provides comfort and flexibility, all whilst maintaining a ‘not so obvious’ silhouette and stylish look, which is perfect if you are not a fan of the Bodycon. And what makes it a great addition for your wardrobe is that you can pair it with a variety of jackets, sneakers, sandals or pumps, for multiple looks. As versatile as it is, you can look just as great wearing it alone, with a pair of statement earrings, or minimalistic jewellery on the wrist. However, in recent times, the Maxi T-Shirt Dress has not been available at all clothing stores like before but may still be found in selected stores. I think that this is an underrated garment that is perfect for Spring and Summer, and a day out with friends enjoying a braai (barbecue).
